Chasing waterfallsNature gifted Lagonoy with a number of beautiful waterfalls ranging in size from small cascades to those with majestically imposing heights. Bulan-ogan Falls for example is one of the tallest waterfalls in the Philippines while Mainit Falls is small and is one of the most convenient to get to.
The most frequented waterfall in town is Kinahologan Falls located in barangay Kinahologan. It does not require a lot of hiking and walking to get to which is why plenty of tourists and local visitors choose it as their instant haven whenever they want to be closer with nature. However, if you want to see the other, more pristine falls, trekking is often required in order to reach majority of the waterfalls within the municipality of Lagonoy. You must be ready to sacrifice convenience and time to catch a glimpse of these beautiful falls, which are worth seeing at least once in your lifetime. Our team have been to most of these falls, including one which very few people have seen. Maduoy Falls is a waterfall tucked away in barangay Agosais; it currently has no photo but will soon make its debut online. We continue to explore and share the hidden treasures of our beloved town so that you can also see it and be proud of the gifts of nature. |
