From Tamban Port, it only takes 30 minutes to reach Barangay Mapid via local motor boats. The Barangay has its own electricity and water supply so there is no worry for visitors who are not willing to go unplug. The white sand beach in the barangay itself is satisfying enough if you are looking for a scenic view. But if you want a place where you can both enjoy peace and quiet, you can head over to Mamburabod beach and spend the night in front of a nice bonfire and a tent. Another secluded cove is Putsan Beach where you can stay at the guard house built on top of a rock providing you an elevated view of the gorgeous Lamit Bay. Barangay Mapid has a lot of things to offer but it's undeniably not that convenient to reach especially if you are from Naga City or the central Partido area. It remains isolated from the rest of Lagonoy but the ongoing development of roads will soon bridge it to the rest of the town. How To Get ThereLOCATION: Brgy. Mapid, Lagonoy, Cam Sur (13°57'49.06"N, 123°27'13.43"E)
